Leslie Schmidt and Samantha Rooney met in 2008 at their children's Montessori preschool and discovered they had a lot in common. In addition to having young children, they had both recently relocated to Arizona, had Midwestern roots, and shared the belief that they could be successful businesswomen as well as moms. |

With Samantha’s professional background in fine jewelry and Leslie’s in publicity, they joined forces in the Fall of 2013 to form PeaceSprouts, LLC. PeaceSprouts offered unique jewelry designs and focused its charitable efforts on instilling in today's children a dedication to peace and kindness. To drive these efforts, PeaceSprouts forged partnerships with the Boys & Girls Clubs, the Girl Scouts, the Global Rescue Project, and the Honey Foundation. Be Kind Wear Peace came to life at the beginning of 2019 and was the natural evolution of its flagship company, PeaceSprouts. Leslie and Samantha are excited about the opportunity to build Be Kind Wear Peace into a leading lifestyle brand that offers unique and beautiful fashion jewelry designs and accessories. Be Kind Wear Peace continues to work with diverse charitable partners to expand peace and kindness initiatives worldwide. |
